There is an ebb and flow to the world. One can see it in the tides, in the seasons and in the traffic. So it would seem that there is a cycle to this blog as well. I’m going to try to write more often, but less each time. Touching briefly upon a topic as if a butterfly alights upon a flower on its way to some exotic local. What keeps this promise from being yet another in a long line of broken ones? Well for starters I’d like to set myself up to succeed this time. One cannot write without the time to do So. I henceforth propose that i spend just a bit each night before i head off into the sweet slumber of restful dreams that i sit down to parlay a bit of knowledge into the world.
So what might todays rather long winded intro lead to? A small three sentence review of Pirates of the Caribbean: The New Batch perchance.
- First off the movie as a whole was a very entertaining trip into a now familiar world.
- All of the same characters make the story move, with jokes in all the right places.
- Despite setting itself up to prevail the movie succumbed to the ever popular extraneous love story which ate up too much screen time.
So all in All the movie was a fun jaunt just about, eh 45 minutes too long for Excellent status. I’d rate it 4 out of 5 mugs
