Myspace, or is it?

Concerning the ever prevalent Myspace complaints circling I would not hesitate to say at this point that they are very well founded. What company when purchased for 891 some odd million dollars has one sole data center. susceptible to a hoard of power, flood and damage problems. One single point of failure. This is simply not good business. In writing this I’m slightly irritated that my profile has been deleted, or moved or some such nonsense. Myspace was what classmates should have been. for most cases it was my link to people I had lost touch with. A valuable connection to people i had moved away from. I honestly don’t think I’ll be recreating a new profile should the old one seriously be gone. I’ll continue to keep an active profile for my podcast, The CaffiNation Podcast. but personal use of the service has become a liability rather than a pastime. I spend time waiting for errors to be corrected, and people now prefer to message that account rather than send me an email. travesty.

Now I know these are all petty concerns when faced with concerns i have previously covered, heat waves, political affronts, and the Philadelphia Eagles. But like any pastime, entertainment, or diversion it crawls under my skin even more so because of the very frivolity associated with such a pastime is offset by the irritation and annoyance of not being able to partake. Pastimes, unless they are sports are not supposed to invoke such emotions. Its like your getting a backrub where every once in a while you yelled at periodically. Yelling is a natural occurrence, same as stress and irritation but not commonly associated with a relaxing activity. Thats pretty much it.
