It is with some trepidation that I start to watch the next season of Lost. I love shows that become phenoms, grow bigger than their intentions, and defy expectations. I think there is something to be said for writing like you know you job is on the line. How can the people responsible for the stories keep that edge when everyone would probably watch anyway.
